Volleyball Recap: Georgia Conyers Key Part of Team Effort in Wolves Win

Timberland's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Mohawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-19.

Timberland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Georgia Conyers out in front who had 14 kills and two blocks. That's the most blocks Conyers has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Lainey Nichols, who had seven kills and four aces.

Timberland's record is now 8-9. As for Bethune-Bowman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Timberland will head out to take on Woodland at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Bethune-Bowman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
