Volleyball Recap: McEachern Takes a Loss

McEachern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Dominion Christian Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Dominion Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashley Cook out in front who had five aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Caldwell, who had nine digs and two aces.

McEachern's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dominion Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, McEachern will square off against Pebblebrook at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dominion Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Westminster on the 9th.
