There's no place like home for Rocky Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Greeley West Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Rocky Mountain never let Greeley West on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-23.

Anya Rainbolt paced Rocky Mountain's offense, picking up eight kills. Rainbolt got some help from Abby Duran and her 28 assists. Caroline Betten controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Rocky Mountain back to even at 6-6. As for Greeley West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Rocky Mountain will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Greeley West, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Greeley Central on the 22nd.
