Meanwhile, Shakamak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Bedford North Lawrence, falling 15-2.

Eastern Greene pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Shakamak, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
