Softball Recap: T.R. Miller Comes Up Short

T.R. Miller fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Prattville Christian Academy on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

T.R. Miller saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Meg Fountain, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

T.R. Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13-1. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-6.

T.R. Miller has already played their next contest, a 13-9 victory against W.S. Neal on the 12th. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-3 win against Tallassee on the 15th.
