Preview: Fort Towson Tigers vs. Valliant Bulldogs
Fort Towson is 1-9 against Valliant since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Fort Towson Tigers will be playing at home against the Valliant Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. Fort Towson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Valliant is ranked 47th).
Fort Towson suffered their biggest defeat since November 2, 2023 last Friday. They were outmatched by Wright City on the road and fell 74-37.
Meanwhile, Valliant can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They blew past Antlers 62-25 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Valliant has posted since December 7, 2023.
Fort Towson's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-12. As for Valliant, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
