It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pyramid Lake had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Pahranagat Valley Panthers to the tune of 59-16. The Lakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Pyramid Lake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Lara out in front who en route to 17 points. Lara is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaitlin Mandell, who posted 14 points and four steals.

Pyramid Lake smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Pyramid Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points over those games. Pahranagat Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-9.

Pyramid Lake has already played their next matchup, a 50-34 victory against Eureka on the 22nd. Pahranagat Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
