Volleyball Recap: Concordia Academy Victorious

Concordia Academy won the last time they faced Zumbrota-Mazeppa and things went their way on Saturday too. The Beacons won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 2-1.

Concordia Academy found their leader in sophomore Evelyn Brown, who had 16 assists and seven digs.

The victory got Concordia Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Zumbrota-Mazeppa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Concordia Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hastings on the 6th. As for Zumbrota-Mazeppa, they will take on Stewartville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
