Basketball Game Preview: State Line HomeSchool R Rush vs. NC H Heat

The State Line HomeSchool R Rush will venture away from home to challenge the NC H Heat at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. State Line HomeSchool R will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, State Line HomeSchool R strolled past Surry HomeSchool with points to spare, taking the game 58-41. Given the Rush's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 181st in Virginia, while the Runnin' Patriots are ranked 453rd in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aden Clark continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 12 boards. State Line HomeSchool R is 6-1 when Clark posts ten or more rebounds, but 3-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Esther Bennett, who posted 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, NC H escaped with a win on Friday against Surry HomeSchool by the margin of a single free throw, 37-36.

State Line HomeSchool R pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for NC H, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.
