Providence School takes loss despite strong efforts from Kennedy Loux and Julianna Baskin

Recap: Providence School Stallions vs. Wayne County Wildcats
On Friday, Providence School was the victim of a rough 56-35 loss at the hands of Wayne County. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Providence School has scored all season.
Julianna Baskin and Kennedy Loux certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Baskin scored 16 points along with four steals, while Loux scored eight points along with three steals. The matchup was Baskin's ninth in a row with at least ten points.
Providence School's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Wayne County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Providence School will be playing in front of their home fans against Chiles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wayne County and Loretto will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Loretto will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
