Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Markesan

After losing to Portage the last time they met, Markesan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Markesan Hornets came out on top against the Portage Warriors by a score of 70-58 on Monday.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Nachreiner, who went 8 of 16 en route to 19 points and six boards. Aidan Warfield was another key player, putting up nine points and six steals.
