Volleyball Recap: Emmaus' Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to 14

Emmaus put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Southern Lehigh Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Emmaus walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.

Colin Holden paced Emmaus' offense, picking up ten kills. Holden got some help from Ben Skekel and his 25 assists. Sander Houtz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Emmaus' victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Southern Lehigh, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Emmaus will look to defend their home court on Friday against Governor Mifflin at 6:00 p.m. As for Southern Lehigh, they will venture away from home to take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
