Soccer Recap: Mt. Markham Starts Season with Win on the Road

Mt. Markham had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Stockbridge Valley Indians an 8-0 shutout.

Mt. Markham and Stockbridge Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Mustangs see the pitch they'll take on Herkimer at 7:00 p.m. on September 11. As for Stockbridge Valley, their break will end when they face McGraw at 4:30 p.m. on September 29.
