Basketball Recap: Rogue River Comes Up Short

Rogue River lost against Brookings-Harbor back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rogue River Chieftains were dealt a 58-11 loss at the hands of the Brookings-Harbor Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Bruins are ranked 111th).

Rogue River has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Brookings-Harbor, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Rogue River will be playing at home against North Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookings-Harbor, they will take on Lakeview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
