Holmen put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sun Prairie West Wolves. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Charley Casey paced Holmen's offense, picking up five kills. Casey got some help from Sadie Mayer and her nine assists. Casey and Mayer didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Sun Prairie West lost, don't look at Jillian Kessler. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs. Kessler is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Holmen's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Sun Prairie West, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6.

Holmen has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sturgeon Bay on the 13th. As for Sun Prairie West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Eau Claire Memorial on the 13th.
