Softball Recap: Cheshire Academy Victorious

The Cheshire Academy Cats came out on top against the Taft School Big Red on Saturday by a score of 9-7 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

A Sutera was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Cheshire Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Taft School only posted an OBP of .273.

The win got Cheshire Academy back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Cheshire Academy will square off against Loomis Chaffee School at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Taft School, they will challenge Kingswood Oxford at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
