Softball Recap: Louise's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak at Home

Louise took a 15-run loss the last time they faced off against Schulenburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Louise sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 33-32 win over Schulenburg on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Louise's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Schulenburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14-1 record this season.

Louise will head out to take on Ganado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schulenburg, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Moulton at 6:00 p.m. Moulton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.73 runs per game on average), something Schulenburg will no doubt try to take advantage of.
