Basketball Recap: Logan Becerra's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tulia over Dalhart

Tulia lost against Dalhart back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tulia Hornets fell 61-49 to the Dalhart Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 941st, while the Wolves are ranked 383rd).

Tulia lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Logan Becerra, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaiden Jalomo, who posted ten points and four steals.

Tulia has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 16-18 record this season. As for Dalhart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.

Tulia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dalhart has already played their next contest (against Shallowater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
