Recap: Crisp County Cougars vs. Peach County Trojans
The Crisp County Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Peach County on the road and fell 73-35. Crisp County has not had much luck with Peach County recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Crisp County had strong showings from Miranda Moore, who scored 5 points along with 11 rebounds and 7 blocks, and Kadashia Glover, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. Moore is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Crisp County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Peach County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crisp County will take on Worth County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Worth County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Saturday. Peach County will be home for the holidays to greet Jones County at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
