Baseball Recap: Oregon Continues Road Dominance on Monday

While Oregon's victory against Madison West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Regents 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Regents: they've now won six in a row.

Peyton Soule was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Kupcho, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Oregon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Madison West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Oregon will be playing at home against Waunakee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison West, they will venture away from home to face off against Sun Prairie West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Regents are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
