The Freeman Scotties will challenge the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cle Elum-Roslyn will be up against a hot Freeman team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Scotties put the hurt on Colfax with a sharp 34-13 win on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Scotties' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 232nd).

Logan Schultz produced another solid performance rushing for 199 yards on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 90 yards and one touchdown. Those 199 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Freeman's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Schultz, Cooper Florence, and Levi Wellner, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Cle Elum-Roslyn against Tonasket on Friday as the team secured a 38-6 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-0.

Freeman's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-2.
