Basketball Recap: Abingdon/Avon Takes a Loss

If Abingdon/Avon was riding high fresh off their 62-23 takedown of Bushnell-Prairie City on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes fell 54-47 to the Canton Little Giants on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 57-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2016.

Abingdon/Avon has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Canton, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
