Basketball Recap: Dedham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ashland last Friday, Dedham came back down to earth. The Dedham Marauders were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 53-52 to the Westwood Wolverines. The Marauders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 46-44.

Dedham's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Westwood, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

As of now, neither Dedham nor Westwood have any future games scheduled.
