Baseball Recap: Harding Victorious

The Harding Skippers had just enough and edged out the Lakeside Dragons 3-1 on Tuesday.

Harding saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Kallay, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Harding's victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Lakeside, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Harding will take on Cuyahoga Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Skippers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Wolves have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Lakeside, they will challenge Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
