Basketball Recap: Tara Polson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Belleview Christian over Non Varsity Opponent

Belleview Christian lost against Non Varsity Opponent back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Belleview Christian Bruins took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent.

Belleview Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tara Polson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Rosiere, who posted eight points and 16 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Belleview Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Belleview Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Belleview Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Christian will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Belleview Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
