Basketball Recap: Oaks Academy Has No Trouble Against North Idaho Christian

Oaks Academy hadn't done well against North Idaho Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Oaks Academy enjoyed a cozy 43-25 win over the North Idaho Christian Royals. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 49-48 win last Monday.

Despite the loss, North Idaho Christian still got an impressive performance from Chelsey Cate, who posted seven points along with ten boards and seven steals. Cate is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Belle Jordan, who put up six points and four steals.

Oaks Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Idaho Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-7.

As of now, neither Oaks Academy nor North Idaho Christian have any future games scheduled.
