Basketball Recap: Pflugerville Connally Comes Up Short

Pflugerville Connally lost against Weiss back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pflugerville Connally Cougars took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weiss Wolves. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Wolves are ranked 435th).

Pflugerville Connally's loss dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Weiss, they pushed their record up to 14-18 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Pflugerville Connally is taking a road trip to challenge Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pflugerville Connally is facing Georgetown at the right time seeing as Georgetown is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Weiss, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against East View at 7:00 p.m. East View will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Weiss surely won't give up without a fight.
