Baseball Recap: Henryville Comes Up Short

Henryville lost against Scottsburg back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-1. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Henryville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Owens, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Owens snagged this season.

Henryville's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Scottsburg, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Henryville will venture away from home to face off against Clarksville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Scottsburg, they will host Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
