Downey has gone 8-2 against Paramount recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Downey will square off against Paramount at 3:15 p.m. Neither Downey nor Paramount posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Downey's offense. They lost 10-0 to La Mirada on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Downey and nudges their season record down to 10-4. As for Paramount, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything went Downey's way against Paramount in their previous meeting back in April of 2022, as Downey made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Downey since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
