Amherst Central waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Frewsburg Bears get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Give Amherst Central's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amherst Central will challenge East Aurora at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Amherst Central will need to watch out since East Aurora have now posted at least four goals in their last five games. As for Frewsburg, they will host Westfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Frewsburg their first taste of in-conference action this season.
