Football Recap: Fairmont Falls Despite Big Games from Jamarion Brown and Omarion Carmichael

Fairmont lost against Whiteville back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Tornadoes took a 42-28 bruising from the Wolfpack.

Despite the loss, Fairmont had strong showings from Omarion Carmichael, who picked up 110 receiving yards and one score, and Jamarion Brown, who threw for 232 yards on 11 of 27 attempts.

Fairmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Whiteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Fairmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-18 loss against South Brunswick on the 24th. As for Whiteville, they have also already played their next game, a 33-28 win against Red Springs on the 24th.
