Grace Christian posted their closest victory since August 20, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Greensboro Day School Bengals. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Grace Christian took Greensboro Day School into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-27, 25-27, 25-21, 15-12.

Alexandra Daly was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs and two assists. Those 13 digs gave her a new career-high. Hayley Pugh also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Grace Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Greensboro Day School, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9.
