Recap: Black Hills Wolves vs. Shelton Highclimbers
The Black Hills Wolves put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Shelton 62-34 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Black Hills has managed all season.
Black Hills was led to victory by Kiley McMahon and Tyler Venable. McMahon scored 18 points along with three steals, while Venable scored 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The match was Venable's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Harris, who scored seven points.
Black Hills pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Shelton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Black Hills will take on WF West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. WF West is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Shelton will be home for the holidays to greet River Ridge at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
