Football Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall fell victim to Subiaco Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 40-0. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 60-22 to the Trojans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Subiaco Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall will head out to face off against South Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Hornet have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Subiaco Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rose Bud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
