Basketball Recap: Bolivar Takes a Loss

Bolivar lost against Marshfield back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bolivar Liberators took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshfield Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Liberators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Bluejays are ranked 27th).

Bolivar has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Marshfield, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Bolivar will challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marshfield, they will head out to face off against Branson at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
