Basketball Game Preview: River Forest Ingots vs. Highland Trojans

The River Forest Ingots are taking a road trip to take on the Highland Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

River Forest can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lowell.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Highland and Calumet New Tech, and Highland kept the tradition alive. The Trojans secured a 59-54 W over the Warriors on Wednesday.

Highland's win came from a few key players River Forest will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brady Boyd, who went 6-for-9 en route to 19 points. Jakob Burelson was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.

River Forest skirted past Highland 51-49 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ingots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
