Football Recap: Sunbright Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sunbright extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-7. They took a blow against the North Greene Huskies, falling 54-14. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-0.

Sunbright's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Walker, who rushed for 22 yards and two scores, and Josh Argubright, who picked up 45 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for North Greene, they now have a winning record of 5-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 33 points or more this season.

A big part of North Greene's victory came down to the chemistry between Jared Swatzell and his top target Brandon Weems. Swatzell picked up 28 receiving yards and one TD while Weems rushed for 52 yards and one score on only five carries.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sunbright is set to challenge their familiar foe Hancock County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Greene will face off against rival Unaka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
