Washington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Holmes Aces with a sharp 9-0 victory. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for Washington this season.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Holmes, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.

Coming up, Washington will venture away from home to challenge West Craven at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington are facing West Craven at the right time seeing as West Craven are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Holmes, they will welcome Currituck County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Holmes will be up against Currituck County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.7 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
