 Toledo Christian lost against Emmanuel Christian last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Toledo Christian Eagles lost  14-1 to the Emmanuel Christian Warriors. Toledo Christian has not had much luck with Emmanuel Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 For Emmanuel Christian's part,  Maggie Woodward was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Woodward has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Woodward was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Sydnie Schoch was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Paris Foster, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Toledo Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Emmanuel Christian, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season.
 Toledo Christian will head out on the road to  challenge  Delta at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Toledo Christian is facing Delta at the right time seeing as Delta is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Emmanuel Christian, they will head out on the road to  take on  Danbury at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Emmanuel Christian knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Danbury likes a good challenge.
