Volleyball Recap: Queen's Grant Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy last Thursday, Queen's Grant came back down to earth. The Stallions fell 3-1 to the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots on Tuesday. The Stallions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-4, 17-25, 25-15.

Piedmont Community Charter was led to victory by Shelby Ostrander and Makenzie Weaver. Ostrander had four aces and three digs, while Weaver had two aces. That's the most aces Ostrander has posted since back in September of 2024.

Queen's Grant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Queen's Grant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Sugar Creek Charter on the 21st. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Jackson Day on the 21st.
