Lexington had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They strolled past the Crest Ridge Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 66-52. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-42 last Tuesday.

Lexington is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Crest Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-46 win against Knob Noster on the 30th. As for Crest Ridge, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Crest Ridge Cougars face off against the Orrick Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
