Kingston Brumley turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two hits surrendered on Tuesday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Kress: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 4-8 otherwise.

Brumley's strong effort led Kress over Claude and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
