Baseball Game Preview: Westside Wolves vs. Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers

For the second straight game, Westside will face off against Houston Math Science & Tech. Westside will be playing at home against Houston Math Science & Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with ten defeats in a row, Westside turned things around against Houston Math Science & Tech on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Tigers. The Wolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Houston Math Science & Tech's part, Daniel Galacia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Westside's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
