Basketball Game Preview: Linn County Mustangs vs. Novinger Wildcats

Linn County is 2-8 against Novinger since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Linn County Mustangs will host the Novinger Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Linn County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Last Monday, Linn County blew past Madison, posting a 60-33 victory.

Meanwhile, Novinger had to suffer through a 98-41 loss at the hands of Green City. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Gophers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Linn County's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Novinger, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.
