Beloit faced Hillsboro in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Beloit walked away with a 2-0 victory over Hillsboro. The win was nothing new for Beloit as they're now sitting on five straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

Addyson Channell paced Beloit's offense, picking up 11 kills. Channell got some help from Colbi Stroede and her 12 assists. Lundyn Knight controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Beloit's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hillsboro, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Coming up, Beloit will welcome Minneapolis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hillsboro, they will face off against Hoisington on Tuesday.
