Soccer Game Preview: Liberty Common vs. Fort Morgan

For the first time this season, Liberty Common will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to square off against the Fort Morgan Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty Common will be strutting in after a win while Fort Morgan will be coming in after a defeat.

Liberty Common is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Campion Academy 10-0 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Liberty Common considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Campion Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexandra Medina (4), Miriam Huffsmith (4), and Sophia Panella (2).

Meanwhile, Fort Morgan has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They came up short against Niwot on Thursday, falling 8-0.

The victory snapped Liberty Common's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Fort Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1.
