Recap: North Boone Vikings vs. Dixon Dukes & Duchesses
After a string of four wins, The North Boone Vikings''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by Dixon 62-34. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Boone in their matchups with Dixon: they've now lost three in a row.
Jack Christensen threw for 60 yards and a touchdown. Bradley Dahl was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
North Boone's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Dixon, their win was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Boone will take on Monmouth-Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixon, they will be playing at home against Plano at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Plano is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
