 The Maywood CES Wolfpack will be playing at home against the Torres Toros at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Maywood CES will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
 Last Monday, Maywood CES sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  victory over Torres.
  Angel Iglesias made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. Iglesias was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He hasn't dropped below two  stolen bases for seven straight games.
 In other batting news, Maywood CES let  Hernan Ruiz and  Patrick Benavidez loose on the outfield. Ruiz  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Benavidez  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Benavidez has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played.
 Maywood CES is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season. As for Torres, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Maywood CES has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 5.9  stolen bases per game.
