Basketball Game Recap: Johnson County vs. Cloudland

The Cloudland Highlanders were the 41-36 winners over the Johnson County Longhorns when they previously met last December. On Tuesday? They had no such luck. Cloudland was just a three-ball shy of a victory and fell 50-48 to Johnson County. The loss was a vexing one since the Highlanders were expected to win based on their ranking.

The defeat dropped Cloudland's record to 15-3. Johnson County's win brought them up to 12-11.

Cloudland is on the road again on Friday and plays against Unicoi County. Unicoi County lost a close one recently, falling 35-34 to Sullivan Central on Tuesday. As for Johnson County, they will face off against University today. The Longhorns won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
