Volleyball Recap: Brooke Fowler and Elissa James Secure Win for Clear Creek

Clear Creek not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 5, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Dobie Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clear Creek never let Dobie on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-23, 25-19.

Clear Creek was led to victory by Elissa James and Brooke Fowler. James had 17 digs and two aces, while Fowler had six aces and four digs. That's the most aces James has posted over her last seven games. Camdyn Cole also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Clear Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Dobie, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Clear Creek will head out to take on Canyon at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Dobie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manvel at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Longhorns' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
